I experienced a stroke after a major surgery and could not talk but one word which was a strain and the left side of my body became weaker than the right side. I was affected in my short term memory. I could not drive because I could not remember where I lived or was going.
They came to my home twice a week and with my speech therapist and physical therapist I regained my memory and strength back, not to mention I am now speaking without stuttering and I am speaking sentences again. When I am talking people would not even know I had a stroke.
